STCW 2010 Basic Safety Training

The STCW course is designed for newcomers to the marine industry working on larger ships or experienced mariners who have never received safety training.

Elementary First Aid (EFA)

Elementary First Aid (EFA)

Gain essential first aid skills to handle onboard medical emergencies, including CPR, wound care, bleeding control, burns, fractures, and choking response, in accordance with STCW standards.

Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF)

A prospective seafarer must take one of the four basic familiarization courses, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF), before going to sea.

Personal Survival Techniques (PST)

The Personal Survival Techniques (PST) course equips seafarers with essential survival skills required during emergencies at sea. It covers life jacket use, liferaft procedures, sea survival techniques, and emergency evacuation in accordance with STCW standards.

Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR)

All Seafarers With Safety Or Pollution Prevention Responsibilities Are Required To Complete Personal Safety And Social Responsibilities (PSSR) Course As Part Of Their Basic Offshore Safety Training.

Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties[STSDSD]

The STSDSD course provides seafarers with the knowledge and practical skills to perform designated security duties onboard. It covers ship security awareness, threat recognition, access control, emergency response, and compliance with STCW and ISPS Code requirements. 

GP Rating Course

 

GP Rating (General Purpose Rating) is a pre-sea training course that prepares candidates for careers in the Merchant Navy. It covers deck and engine operations, safety, firefighting, first aid, and seamanship as per STCW standards, leading to entry-level jobs onboard merchant ships.
